Fall Updates (& where in the heck did summer go?)
I've been busy moving (again), and somehow missed a whole season.
Spent the past few weeks doing a lot of this:
and mowing this:
+ Some other stuff happened:
My illustration Migration Anxiety was included in the Syracuse Cultural Workers 2019 Women Artists Datebook.
Click here to check out the cool work this organization is doing and support if you are inclined and able.
The Lost Girl's Book of Divination is now available as an eBook! (You can get a digital copy for $2.99 (!) if you buy, or have bought, the physical copy.)
Also check out Tolsun Books and treat yourself to a subscription. It is the absolute best thing I've ever done for myself and finding their beautiful book packages in my mailbox makes me oh so happy!
My illustration (Dime Con Quien Andas) and poetry were included in the August 2018 online issue of The Acentos Review alongside some very cool work by Latin writers I admire. Check out the full feature here.
Last but not least, my chapbook Chonga Nation was selected as one of four finalists in the 2018 Digging Press Chapbook Series.
Thrilled to be in such great company! Check out the winner and all the finalists here.
Hope everyone is having a happy October!
